My husband and I moved from Huntsville to Smith Lake in 2010. I had been involved in real estate and Hal retired Army. I learned about LTCV while volunteering on a lake cleanup. I decided to check it out and I have been active with LTCV for about two years.
LTCV has been a great way to connect with the community, give back, and interact with some fun people. It also gives me the satisfaction of hopefully making a difference.
