From 9am to 11am volunteers picked up trash along County Road 223. Volunteers met at Sheriff’s West Side Field Office at 8:45am. Started pickup on CR 223 near intersection with Valley Grove Grocery Store and proceeded south picking up west side of road for approximately 1.8 miles. Flat terrain. Number of volunteers: 4 (plus Deputy Butts). Approximately 650lbs of trash was picked up. There was lunch provided by S&S Foods in Dodge City. Total pickup recorded: 650 lbs of trash picked up.
